VISIT TO NSDC BY MESSRS J. P. MUKHERJI & ASSOCIATES (JPMA) PVT. LTD
Three officials of Messrs J. P. Mukherji & Associates PVT Ltd from Pune, India visited the Sugar Council on Thursday 31st January, 2019. The officials included: Dr, M. S. Sunderam – Managing Director, Mr T. S. Rao – Joint Managing Director and Mr Shirish Karandikar – Director Projects. The company is engaged in: “Total Project Management for setting up of a Sugarcane Processing Complex. It specializes in engineering and consultancy services for the cane sugar industry to produce sugar and its By-Products, stabilization and optimization of existing plant capacities, aimed at reducing project cost.
JPMA has been in the forefront for Innovative Designs, many of which have been patented. It has also achieved milestones in designing Equipment and Systems for Energy Conservation and has been credited for saving large quantities of fuel, thereby generating surplus bagasse for cogeneration of Electricity and producing Paper”.
JPMA is currently consulting for Dangote Sugar Group for the optimisation and upgrading of the Savannah Sugar Company Ltd, Numan from 3,200TCD to 6,000TCD and thereafter the establishment of a green field 12,000TCD plant in Numan and another in Tunga, Nasarawa State.
The company desires to participate in many more projects in Nigeria and was encouraged to establish corporate presence in Nigeria so as to benefit from consultancy projects of NSDC. In particular, the Council will be pleased to leverage on JPMA’s expertise for a financial and technical evaluation of Josepdam Sugar Company (Nigerian Sugar Company) Bacita, Kwara State.
